This PL is designed to support teachers who are implementing the Western Australian Curriculum: Languages – Japanese
JLTAWA invites all members to a one-day Walk the Talk Japanese Language Specific Professional Learning event designed to:
- Share resources that support the implementation of the Western Australian Curriculum: Languages – Japanese to further knowledge and understanding of the WAC Languages for Japanese. Advancing and preparing for the curriculum 2021.
- Focus on resources and maximising the use of 日本語 in Japanese Language Learning*
- Assist with support for Effective Classroom Management* in the Japanese language classroom
*This is a repeat of the 2020 online DoE Walk the Talk PL for the LBDO. It is open to any JLTAWA teacher from any sector. Also any DoE teachers who would like a refresher of the online material face to face or those who did not manage to attend can catch up with the same presenters and materials. The PL was written by the DoE and JLTAWA teachers and specifically targets Japanese teachers of Primary, however the PL would be of value to all teachers in implementing the new WA Curriculum.
